Smoky Citrine and Labradorite Antler Torc Necklace
A hand-sculpted polymer clay torc necklace that features two beautiful smoky citrine points on each side and a labradorite hanging from it. There are recycled sari silk and hemp wrappings around the antlers with little buttons on them.
This torc is made with Cosclay which is very flexible, and has a wire in it. It is flexible enough to take on and off and make small adjustments to fit to your body, but please avoid overbending with a lot of force back and forth as this can weaken the clay and break your piece. Torc necklaces are made with an opening in the front to put on and take off and the weight of the pendant pieces in the front weighs it down to keep it on.
Torc measures approx. 16" around along the inner diameter of the torc, and the labradorite pendant piece is 3" long. It is attached to the torc via brass chains that each have a lobster clasp on the end that attaches to each antler. You only need to detach one to get the necklace on and off, but there are two clasps so you can decide which side you want to open.
Polymer clay can be pretty sturdy, but please treat this piece carefully because a good whack against something or dropping on the floor could potentially damage it! Please do not wear to shower and avoid getting this piece wet, as it can damage the clear coating that protects the color.
